One of the Best Book I have ever read

Osho says "My way the way of Tilopa"; Osho's disclosure of Mahamudra it one of the beautiful books I have ever read. This book cought my attention in the bookstore, it has picture of Osho's face, his eyes just looking though you-very power eyes, I must say. Like Tantra masters, they look at you without looking, they look through you. I started to read the book and I just coulde't keep this book away. It was in 2003, then I knew nothing about Osho or Tilpa. Now I have read this books number of times, I read it once in a few years, everytime I find his it more profound and fresh. I consider this book a really precious! It talks about the nature of Mind, one of the things one has to know before one starts to meditate is to know the nature of mind, thoughts; What is mind, thoughts? their very nature; It talks about simple things as action and activity. Osho explains giving examples what Tilopa is trying to say in mahamudra, he explains then comes to sutras. He explains each line in the sutras, it can be interpret the differently,Its like one realized master talks about another. He explains mahamudra with great ease, it come naturally form him as being a realized master himself. He says most of our time is we spend on activity so when the time of action come, we cannot respond to that moment with our full awareness, because most of our energy is wasted in activity, and we have no energy left when time of action comes. So he explains what Tilopa is referring to "action" and "activity". These disclosure were give to his desiples who were westerners. He explains them giving various examples, so that they can understand with ease. He says "In East it is said, when a Buddha commits sin, he doesn't accumulate karma; but you not even doing anything you are sill accumulate Karma -Why?". So, he then explains sutras, tells this is what Tilpa is referring to. I consider this book one of the best disclosure of Mahamudra available-though there are many book available; it contains pure wisdom of a realized master, its the most precious book in my collection. It is a must read for anyone who is interested in discovering spiritual site of him. I would definitely recommend it.

... it's something beyond...

I have not read or heard a single discourse or dialogue from Osho that has not lived up to the highest expectations. Osho never wrote. All his books are direct transcripts of his public discourses. His style is methodological, and although the writ capture some of his simple eloquence, it cannot reproduce his music and his silence. The audio of the discourses is available in various place and it's a real treat to here. Imagine this setting: tape hiss capturing silent moments, birds singing in the distance happily, hundreds of people sat in silence ... and the man himself, Osho, telling tales effortlessly and imparting wisdom gently as he drifts beautifully through Tilopa's Song of Mahamudra. It's something beyond ...

a Tantric master speaks

Unlike most Tantra authors, Bhagwan Rajneesh, also known as Osho, was undeniably a great Tantric master. This fact lends significant weight to his many publications on Tantra and sacred sexuality.

This is the best book I?ve ever read in my whole life.

It is also the first book by Osho I read. I just read the first paragraph at the bookstore and I knew this was quality material. But I had no idea to what extent it was! I was on an obscure passage of my life, and believe me, while I was reading it, I felt I was breathing a new air! I was in such a need of a good, profound, rational approach to spirituality. I can tell you, honestly, that this book opened a new dimension and helped self my life, which was going quite bad.Since I was a teen, I was a very philosophical being. And believe me, this book is for the intellectual open-minded person. It is amazing how Osho gets on dogmas and vanishes them with ease. It will show you how the heart isn't at fight with reason, although there are some things that exceed the power of logic. If you have an open spirit and a critic mind, and especially, a need for healing... If you know what it is to feel the tears flow endlessly on those lonely nights, this is The Book for you. I give you my word. Just don't project tension on the book to make it happen. Forget even about this opinion for the moment and read with an open heart. Please feel free to contact me if you think I can be of further assistance.

Tantra looks at life with a total vision

Osho's discourse on Tilopa's Song of Mahamudra moves beyond mere interpretation. Osho explains the essence of Tantra: "It has no attitude to look at life. It has no concepts, it is not a philosophy. It is not even a religion, it has no theology. It doesn't believe in words, theories, doctrines." Tantra says "yes" to everything, moving beyond dualism - it is acceptance. Osho shatters preconceptions, traditions, and ideas. His discourse is powerful, poetic and illuminating. Next to the Tao Te Ching and the Dhammapada it is the most important book I have read to date.
