This book was very informative. Not only did I have a great read, but I learned something as well. Kilpack did her homework. This story and character felt real, alive, and I completely related to her story. I should also mention that I stayed up all night reading, and well into the next day. I was hooked from the start. A great book with acurate detail and description, so much so, that I could not see any flaws with the story line. I was completely there. Be prepared to get hooked!

I could not put this book down! I loved every minute of it. In fact, the charcters became to real to me that I still find myself thinking about Gloria and wondering how she is doing. I was impressed by the way the author took a very real issue from today's world and dealt with it from an LDS perspective. You can not go wrong with this book. I'm glad I own it because I know I will read it again and again!

I was unaware of an underground organization dedicated to keeping abused and wrongfully treated women and children safe. I know that these things happen, but I had not read about them before. Reading of the patience and the care and the vigilance of this woman made me grateful that good people still exist in this busy world. Ms. Kilpack is easy to read. I was warned that I would have to read it all if I started it, and the warning was right. I could not stop until I finished the story. Making decisions based on our knowledge of right and wrong, with a big dose of inspiration is possible. The bad guys don't always have it their way! Thanks for a good inspiring book.
