Paul is a scientist and flies to the sun on a jet with his three other colleagues. His jet gets shot down by missiles and they crash with no survivors. His son Jacob grows up and wants to be a scientist just like his dad. Jacob stumbles upon his dad's hidden room in the basement. Jacob finds out that his dad is a keeper of a devise called The Heat Stone.

The Heat Stone is a device that is used to heat but can also be used to destroy stuff. Jacob and his scientist friends must take one of his dad's jets and fly to the sun to help the People Of The Sun fight off The People In The Mist. The People In The Mist are a group of people that left the sun and created a home for themselves in the clouds.

The People In The Mist hate the People Of The Sun and want to destroy them. It's up to Jacob and his friends to protect the People Of The Sun and The Heat Stone at all costs.
