Most of us have had times that we wished we had a back up when disaster struck: destroyed data, lost photographs of loved ones, a spare tire that isn't devoid of air, well-laid plans gone awry into angles that would give Euclid hypertension. The poems and art in this issue glory in such mind-bending geometry, secure in the planned responses to the eventual contingencies. Risks are taken with flair. Why not? We've got a backup.
