The first time I heard of Rachel Zoe was when I stummbled onto her reality show one night. After that I became a fan. I love listening to her style points, and seeing all the beautiful clothes she has surrounding her. I bought her book, and I wasn't disappointed at all. I definately recommend it.

Too many people like to attack Rachel, but I'm a fan. I approve her taste, save for the skinny/anorexic thing, but that's another story. This said, I enjoyed the book TREMENDOUSLY. As a fashionista, I find it was very generous of her to share her access (and advice!) to the top fashion industry people (Diane von Furstenberg, Jimmy Choo's Tamara Mellon, Azzaro's Vanessa Seward, Donatella Versace, Margherita Missoni, Decades's Cameron Silver, etc). There's plenty of priceless advice, from choosing the right kind of jeans for your figure to organizing your closet, how to choose vintage clothing right, etc. I personnally loved the chapter on accessories organizing- where her sister Pamela shares her method. Despite accusations of "narcissism", I found the tone of her book very gracious, together and smart. She is good at what she does, is a very successful woman and she is, yes, nice. I recommend it to any fan of glamour and high fashion.
Good Dream Read

Reviews are right, the book is a little pretentious. But how can you not sound like you're bragging when you have a lifestyle like Racheal?? Her writing is smart, her style is so fun, she is lovely herself and the book was motivating in good ways. It made me organize my jewelrey, buy better shoes and book a summer getaway. If you enjoy Hollywood fashion, as well as fashion in your own closet, this is a very enjoyable book.
Surprisingly good.

While the google search of her brings up a ton of negative and cruel mentions, I found her book to be really good. If you like her work, you'll like the book. She strikes me as smart, together and pleasant person who has worked hard to get to where she is at. I liked her book far more than Nina Garcia's.
