Slick Watts arrived in Seattle with nothing but his name, shiny head, headband, and his personality. He remains there to this day--one of the most memorable and likable icons of Seattle sports... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Tales from the Seattle Supersonics IS A VERY EASY AND BREEZY READ. I THINK THAT SLICK WATTS DOES A VERY GOOD JOB GIVING US SHORT BUT INTERESTING AND HUMOROUS STORIES ABOUT HIS CAREER IN THE NBA. I FOUND THE MOST INTERESTING TO BE CONCERNING BILL RUSSELL, PISTOL PETE AND HIS DAYS AS A SUPERSONIC. SLICK WAS SMALL BUT HUSTLED, PASSED AND PLAYED GOOD DEFENSE TO BE A VALUABLE MEMBER OF THE SONICS IN THE LATE 1970'S WHICH MADE THE FINALS TWICE AND WON ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. I RECOMMEND THIS FOR ALL BASKETBALL FANS.
