For Charlie Hallow, cars are simple and men are complicated. As a mechanic and owner of her own auto repair shop, she feels she can handle just about anything that comes her way-until Landon Bishop arrives in town. The cocky and flirtatious world-traveling photographer makes his way straight into her shop, and it doesn't take long before Charlie is one snarky comment away from sending him straight back to where he came from. To put it mildly, she can't stand him. As he constantly teases her and pushes her buttons and her charismatic friends do everything in their power to pair the two of them up, she's just trying to make it through one encounter with him without turning into a total nutcase. To make matters worse, this snarky photographer has a knack for catching all of her embarrassing and awkward encounters on camera, forever holding her mortification in the palm of his hand.
However, as circumstances keep forcing the two together, Charlie may just have to face the fact that she and Landon have more in common that she'd ever care to admit. As they both open up about past griefs and the work God has done in their lives, she has to wonder if her first impression of him just might have been wrong.
