Quite good but not everyone's cup of tea....

This novel may offend prurient interests, however, it's an entertaining and spicy read for those not easily offended and/or those who can separate fiction from reality - aka those who can admit (at least to themselves) that what mentally arouses them in a novel may not be legal, morally desirable, or even what they actually practice in their bedrooms. Women are more or less objectified in the novel, and there are a couple rape/ravishment scenes. If the idea of ravishment/submissiveness/powerlessness (female) doesn't get you going, this book is probably not for you.However, as a whole, the sexual activity described in the novel hardly puts it in the top tier of taboo erotica/pornography.

Five star book with reservations ....

I you are into rape and very violent erotic sex with a revengefull twist then this book is for you. Be forewarned however that there is barely one erotic sexual encounter where the sexual partners are willing from the get go, and, this scene is more like a backdrop rather than an integral part of the story. As if that isn't bad enuogh the author also devotes considerable time to BM's and that type of sex. Certainly the editorial review would lead you to belive this is a Victorian era erotic book. Well it's not! The only Victorian thing about this book is the time frame of the book and that's where it ends!I rated it as five stars even though, as you can probably tell, I didn't like the book because there are readers that enjoy this type of pretty rough eroticism.
