Great Beginners Cookbook!

My daughter is 2 1/2 and loves this book! It is a nice break for me too, as I am getting tired of reading the old standbys. It has a great section in the middle of photographed laminated recipe cards of things kids would like to eat. All of the recipes are Sesame Street related- Dorothy's Favorite Snack Mix, Zoe's Tutu Pink Smoothies, Oscar's Delicious Cups of Dirt, and so on. My child is an EXTREMELY picky eater (aren't they all at this age?) and I have actually been able to at least get her to try some new things since she has been able to help make them (they all are made our of really simple ingredients) and since she thinks all of her favorite characters love to eat them, too. The concept is a cute one. Sesame Street is having a block party and everyone is bringing something. Elmo is going around helping everyone make their dishes but he can't figure out what to bring. Oscar tells him how he got his idea and it goes on from there. I enjoy it. It has a section in the back about nutrition as well. I think it is well worth the money!
