It always a delite to hear the Ghost Hunters' encounters with apporitions. They are always able to make the reader at ease with encountering spirits with humor and compassion. It feels like a readable version of the show but with added detail.Which I believe is what they were trying to achieve. Love from Both Sides: A True Story of Soul Survival and Sacred Sexuality

A must read for GH fans

If you love the Ghost Hunters show, you won't be disappointed. Includes the "lost" episode of Ghost Hunters, Grant's personal story, how both Jason and Grant became the owners of the Spaulding Inn, how they met Steve, and many other stories that throw in a surpise laugh here and there. All in all, a good book.

LOVED IT!!!!

Wow!!! Just when I thought I had read almost everything about ghosts, along comes "Seeking Spirits", and totally blows me away! I would have paid double the cover price just to find out what happened to Grant, but there were stories in this book that just had me shaking my head in amazement. Who knew "doppelgangers" were real entities? I loved the practical, technical aspects that Jason and Grant included at the end of the chapters. As a regular viewer of "Ghost Hunters", I had seen the episodes that they wrote about in their first book. I enjoyed their first book, but didn't feel like I learned as much as I did in this one. I can't recommend it highly enough!! (Pretend that there are 5 additional imaginary stars behind my 5 visible stars)

An interesting, fun, fast read. Enjoyable and well-written.

More fun and interesting stories from our favorite Ghost Hunters! Grant and Jason have obviously had some creepy, "make you think" things happen to them and this book was as fun to read as the first one. Wow, if only these could be on TV too! It was great to read about the encounters that started them off in the paranormal, Grant's was SOOOOO spooky. If you love the show and love the guys, you'll love the book.

SEEKING SPIRITS -- An engaging collection of fascinating and true paranormal investigations by Jason

Welconme to my 'Guilty Pleasure'. I LOVE Ghost Hunters. I have been a loyal viewer of Ghost Hunters on SyFy since it first aired. I cannot NOT watch a show, even if its a repeat. I've even purchased every season on DVD because each show is not only engaging and entertaining from a viewer standpoint, but Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson make you feel like you are right there with them. In fact, you feel like you know these guys. You trust these guys! There is nothing phoney or pretentious about Grant and Jason. They are two hard-working, honest, compassionate men devoted to their families who (through a shared interest in the paranormal) have also opened the door toward a greater understanding of the paranormal world through genuine concern for their clients and a search for the truth. The sincerity and professionalism of Grant Wilson, Jason Hawes and their investigative team at T.A.P.S. (The Atlantic Paranormal Society), combined with their use of scientific technology, as well as an open but objective attitude shows us they are not only serious about their investigations but strive to maintain a standard of ethics and honesty in their work. The reason I bring this all up in my review is because ALL of these attributes have been captured in "Seeking Spirits". Consequently, I doubt its any surprise that I LOVE "Seeking Spirits" in which Grant and Jason share memories of their early cases as paranormal investigators. Each case is engaging, fascinating, suspenseful and (at times) frightening. Each case is told in such a way you almost feel like they are talking to you personally. To be honest, reading this book brought back that feeling of being a child, sitting around a campfire at night beneath a blanket of stars, spellbound while listening to ghost stories --eager to learn what happens next and, at the same time, not wanting the story to end. But these are NOT stories; they are real events from actual paranormal investigations by the authors, Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson. As a reader, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As an author, I congratulate Jason and Grant,(as well as Michael Jan Friedman) for "Seeking Spirits: The Lost Cases of The Atlantic Paranormal Society". Whether or not you are a viewer of Ghost Hunters, if you enjoy or are fascinated by the paranormal, I highly recommend this book. My only complaint? I wish it was a BIGGER book filled with lots more fascinating case histories. Ashley Kath-Bilsky
