Mathematics Diagnostic and Intervention Strategies

This book is an excellent rendition for identifying why students don't understand the material. The problem set-up strategies and arithmetic compilation are explained with frequent diagrams/illustrations depicting how to arrive at the ideal solution. The book covers "borrowing" to accomplish unique subtraction problems. In addition, "proof of solution sets" is covered in great detail. The book has word problems and some geometric set-ups. It could assist greatly in targeting specific problem areas in early to intermediary elementary school mathematics and arithmetic compilation.
