If you like books about adventure, then R.T., Margaret, and the Rats of Nimh is for you book. This book is about a girl named Margaret, and a boy named R.T. and they get lost in the woods while camping with their family. Their only refuge is the Rats of Nimh. When winter comes they must return to their home because it will be too cold for them. When they get home, they must protect the rats and not tell anyone about them. Will Margaret reveal her secret about the rats? Read the book and you'll find out! I really enjoyed this book because there was a lot of excitement and surprises in the book. I give this book five stars because I really enjoyed the action and the surprises.

the book was really good and its good for all ages. if there was a fourth one i would be the first one to have a copy. i recomend this book to everyone!

DO YOU LIKE ACTION? ADVENTURE? ANIMALS? IF SO THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU. SEE THESE TWO KIDS GO CAMPING AND THEN ET LOST, BUT THE RATS OF NIMH SAVE THEM. WELL ANYWAY AFTER THAT THE KIDS HAVE TO KEEP A SERET AND MAKE SURE NO ONE HURTS THE RATS, BUT IS IT ALL THAT EASY. WELL IT..........OOPS WHY DON'T YOU READ THE BOOK AND FIND OUT. I CAN GUARANTEE YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST COULDN'T STOP REAING IT.

This is an exciting, thrilling, yet sad book.

This is the third book in the series of NIHM books. It tells what happens when two kids get lost in the forest and have the opportunity to get to befriend the rats of NIHM. The ending is terrific! Is there a fourth book in the series?? Please let me know. I want to know what happens to these creatures that have become so intelligent!

Magical and inspiring

Jane L. Conly has an amazing gift for accurately describing the thoughts and feelings of young people. She not only made me feel as though the children and the talking rats were real, she made me fall in love with them. Although I like to think of myself as a "reasonably sophisticated" 40-year-old woman, I cried when I read the last pages--just as I would have if I had been ten years old again.
