Amazing and wonderful bood

I can not say enough wonderful things about this book. The recipes are easy, quick and most of all execellent. I have hidden this book from my husband who likes to cook and often thinks he is a better cook than me. With this book as my "secret weapon" I have been able to impress the pants off of him. I have not found a bad recipe yet. The portions are smaller than most recipes, and the tips throughout the book are witty and fun and a perfect compliment to this book. I would highly recommend this to everyone- and am buying it for my mother-in-law as my husband has even raved to her about these recipes!! That alone is good enough for me to know the book is wonderful!

A must-have for couples

This is such an inspiring book for the person trying to get excited about cooking for two. The recipes are fast, flavorful, easy-to-prepare and guaranteed to get compliments from those with whom you share them. They can also be converted to serve more than 2 people. These authors have done an outstanding job coming up with convenient dishes that don't taste that way, all presented in a fun yet stylish format. If you need a little culinary inspiration, regardless of how many you are serving, you'll love this book.

I love the Chicken-Basil-Blue pasta! I got an extra copy of the cookbook, just to keep in my office, so I can skim it and grab fresh stuff on the way home. The fastest gourmet food in the West! (Hoping for more recipes in a new book soon!!)

Exactly what I've been needing

This book not only provides great tips and directions for the not-so-experienced cook (aka, my husband), but it also gives me some great new recipes for almost every type of cuisine. The book really lives up to its name. The recipes are fast, easy, and I never have to worry about leftovers. I even got one for my mom for Christmas because she's still trying to get used to not having to cook for four, and I think she (and my dad) will be happy to get this stocking stuffer.

Arugula not required!

This book is heaven sent for those of us who aren't gourmet chefs and don't like having to buy enough food for a small army just to follow a dinner recipe. Good, fresh food without a lot of fuss...that's my kind of cookbook.Plus, they don't use lots of fancy schmanzy ingredients...Another winning element of Quickies for Couples!
