Prayer Principles

A great starter book for learning how to pray according to God's will and how to sincerely seek the Lord through prayer. I give them to all my believing friends to enrich their walk with Christ!

Life-changing, but prefer the older version

This book on prayer answered questions I didn't even know I had. I recommend that people first read Finney's Memoirs for an exciting picture of what God did through him & his ministry. That is the best of Finney & will help you understand his other works. I honestly prefer the older version of this book because it is less 'updated' and uses a more literal translation of the Bible in its quotations. I consumed this book, going through it twice in a few weeks. Highly recommended.

These men of old really knew how to talk to God! Great book!

An awesome book on prayer

This was one of the first Finney books I ever read in the mid-80s. The principles of prayer I learned from this book then are still used in my life today. This book is the cream of his teaching on prayer from his Lectures on Revivals, broken down into daily devotionals. If you're longing for revival, or longing for God to answer your prayers, this may be just the book you need.
