Beautiful and compelling

The author does a wonderful job of capturing the complexity and diversity of autistic people and autism itself. It was hopeful and inspiring to read—and refreshing to hear someone debunk and deflate the toxic mythos surrounding autism. Tuned for both an autistic and non-autistic audience, I highly recommend as many people as possible read On The Spectrum to promote understanding and kindness, rather than fear and hate.
