excellent resource

Received this in excellent condition. This is an awesome drug-herb reference, discusses interactions, cautions for specific disease issues...ie may increase hypotensive effects, may reduce warfarin effects, specific patient teaching info. Very thorough and usable in practice. Very worth the price!!!! RN with 38 years of experience.

Nursing Herbal Medicine Handbook.

I am extremely impressed with this book. It is the most usable Herb book I have. It has a way to tell if the Herbs are working on a lot of the Herbs by showing you which blood tests to have tested. It also has a section on diseases so you can find an Herb that will heal that ailment. You can also find a lot of adverse side effects in it that you can't find in other Herb books. And you need that if you are trying to heal someone instead of hurting them.

Very Good

This book has very good information on interactions with drugs and other herbs. This is a good source in my nursing practice in the instruction of patient medication interactions with any herbal supplements they may be taking.
