Plowerful story

This is a powerful, moving account of a small girl dragged through one of Britains institutions during the 1940s and 1950s. Her struggle to survive not just physically but mentally is a testament to her own inward strengths and determination. Considering this is a true story it makes you wonder how many other children from the period could write such accounts.
