Growing up in West London in the crazy, hazy 1960's/70's, much like the television sets of the time, progressing from black and white to vivid technicolour, Garry 'Moonboot' Masters served his freakadelic apprenticeship with his fellow adverseries in such exotic locations as London's Portobello Road, among the towering bluestones and surrounding fields of Stonehenge and beyond, elevating from his humble 'white bread' beginnings to a freaky-deakier hippy stoneground wholemeal...Garry 'Moonboot' Masters and his Magic Mushroom Band were to become major players in the Acid Rock/Psychedelic Festival resurgence of the 'eighties and early 'nineties, bringing some much needed colour to an otherwise grey and dull era...The band also became the launch pad for the 'Ethno-Ambient Space Beat' pioneers Astralasia and the all-acoustic, then electric Moonboot Oz.
