Why don't we read the ingredients?

So, what? Trudeau's trying to make money. Who isn't??? Seriously, have you ever seen a commercial or advertisement for a natural non-toxic herbal remedy? Do you pinch at least two loafs a day? I don't understand why someone who recommends fasting & cleansing to elimate toxins, home-cooked organic foods, and walking may help PREVENT (which Trudeau explains is his "cure") disease is a dishonest scam-artist, but a gigantic for-profit company that sells you FOOD that contains high fructose corn syrup, alpha tocopherol acetate, and pyroxidoxine hydrochloride (ingredients in Special-K cereal) should be trusted. Then you run to those SAME companies to buy the drugs for your diabetes, fibromyalgia, and acid reflux disease though the side affects may be liver cancer, stroke, OR death? Wow, how sad! Well, I guess when we say "God bless America" we should ask him to SUPERSIZE it.

be pro active in your health

Following this advice does work! You have to do the work though, and be very pro-active in your own health. Most Americans do not know/think they should question anything their doctor tells them. This can be a deadly mistake. I am a doctor, and have worked in the research field with drug companies. There are always! other options to drugs. Just prescribing medications without ever giving nutritional options first, should be considered malpractice. Facts--medical schools are funded by Big Pharma, Medical conferences after graduation are funded by Big Pharma, doctors are taught from the first day of school exactly what Big Pharma wants them to learn. Doctors will not know enough about nutrition or correct supplementation unless they do they own research and training. Most doctors do not have time for this and just follow whatever guidelines given to them. All people can not be treated by the same 'cookie cutter' recipe. So, only treating according to a 'guideline' and not the real person can be deadly. So, if this book even makes even 1 person look a little more into their own health, research and ask questions, then it was well worth the price. This book is not alarmist, it is actual stuff that happens in our country all the time. Do a little research yourself and you will see several raids have occured on others also. Some deserved, some full blown corruption of our rights. You cannot possible deny that there are people out there who would flat out lie, risks our health, and worse, just to make more money. Hopefully, this book will send someone back to their doctor to ask more questions, and into a health food store to buy foods which dont contain so many toxic additives. If your doctor wont give you natural and medical options... you should find a new doctor!

Kevin Trudeau Natural Cures Book review

I actually had purchased this book for my husband, thinking he would like it. I opened it up, and could not put it down. Since that time I ordered all of his books reading them with new awareness. This book was incredible, and I believe it to be true. We have completely changed our lifestyles since my husband and I read this book. My daughter was cured from "acid reflux" in 3 days. My son's excema is gone in less than 3 weeks from only eating organic food. This book was not only a great read, it has changed our lives.

Great Information!

I've been reading and learning about natural health and nutrition for years and I agree with everything that Kevin Trudeau talks about in his books because it is analogous to everything I've already learned in the past. This isn't new information but it's like a complete compilation of all the other books that I own and more. Trudeau suggests reading his first Natural Cures book before reading this one and I agree because his first book is like an introduction to his second book. Even though the first few chapters about the government, FDA, FTC, etc. can be tedious, I believe it is a crucial part of the book because it shows how much corruption is out there in government agencies and big corporations. They aren't concerned about the health of this nation, they are just there to make money. If you don't believe that, look around... the evidence is everywhere. Some people who gave this book bad reviews look as if they've never even read the book. The saying is true, "Don't judge a book by its cover." PS: If you think his list of suggestions on how to never get sick (chapter 13) is impossible to follow, just do what you can do and gradually add other items into your list of good health habits. You'll be glad you did!

I have both of his Natural Cures books and really learned a lot from them and would highly recommend them. I know that there are many negative reviews, but my advice is to borrow the books and read them for yourself -only you can make up your own mind. Negatives about the books: * He goes on and on and on about his battles with the FDA, FTC, etc. and all of the corruption within these organizations. I get it. I believe him. I actaully knew about a lot of it before his books came along. I feel sorry for him and hope he wins his battle. But enough is enough. * He tends to over-exaggerate a bit. For example, "Virtually all scientific studies are false, misleading, and fraudulent." P. 139. Now come on, ALL? I know that many are, but you can't prove ALL. * I know this is nitpicking, but he overuses the word "virtually" and it's distracting. * Some chapters jump back and forth between stories of corruption and an actual "cure", so you really you have to pay attention and read the entire chapter to get all of the hidden gold nuggets. It would have been better to have the book divided into two sections, one about the corruption and the other about the cures. Best Feature of the Book: All of the "cures" are in one place. I consider myself pretty educated on the subject of natural health, and I already knew about most of the natural cures Trudeau talks about. He puts his all of his natural cures and recommendations in one place (Ch 13-15) and to me this is an indespensable tool. Am I upset that he has a website with paid membership? No. Am I upset that he mentions his webisite in his books? No. What is wrong with him making a little money? Lots and lots of people have paid membership sites - nobody is having a cow over theirs. He gives you enough info in his books that if you don't want to pay the monthly fee, you don't have to join. I don't belong to the website. Kevin Trudeau didn't make this stuff up. He's not the only natural-health person to ever come under attack from the FDA. All of these natural "cures" he talks about are all over the internet, in hundreds of other books, and even in popular magazines (I recently bought a mag put out by Reader's Digest called Extraordinary Cures). I'm glad Trudeau is fighting for our rights as Americans to be able to freely hear about alternative health choices so WE can decide what is right for us, not the government deciding. Get this book - it just may change or save your life.
