Moon's Fury

Temporary sheriff Cara Salinas is a werewolf and alpha female of her Texas Sazi pack. Adam Mueller is second-in-command of the Minneapolis Sazi pack. Adam is scouting Cara's small Texan town because some of his pack members may be relocating there. Lucas Santiago is a Wolven. He is one of the most powerful leaders in werewolf society. Lucas arrives in Texas attempting to merge the two packs. Adam and Cara are wondering why Lucas is needed. They soon get their answers when lies and treachery are uncovered. While they try and find a way to seamlessly join the packs, a rogue group of Sazi birds are reeking havoc and killing people in town. Cara must save the packs and the humans while trying to tamp down her intense need to mate with Adam. Moon's Fury is a good story, one I hard a hard time putting down. The chemistry between Adam and Cara is very strong and very intense right from the start and it only gets better as book progresses. I really enjoyed how their Sazi forms were much more prevalent than their human forms as well. Moon's Fury is a paranormal romance in every sense of the word, making it very interesting, sexy and unique. Nannette reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

Action packed and full of enough heat to rival a Texas summer, Moon's Fury will captivate readers fr

Courtesy of CK2S Kwips and Kritiques A CK2S Recommended Read! Powerhouse writing duo CT Adams and Cathy Clamp have given us another winner with Moon's Fury, the latest in the Tales of the Sazi series. Cara Salinas is the sheriff of a small town in the Texas Hill Country who is very dedicated to her extended family. She's also the alpha of a small pack of Mexican Red Wolf Sazi shape shifters. Adam Mueller is the second in a very large pack of Timber Wolf Sazi in Minnesota who is in TX scoping out the territory since his pack is being split and half ordered to join Cara's pack. While Cara and Adam are getting used to each other in preparation for the integration, a group of rogue Sazi raptors is attacking children, human and Sazi, and Cara needs to track them down. Now Cara and Adam must work together to hunt down the raptors destroy them before they can steal any more children. In the middle of all this, neither one expected to find their fated mate... in each other. New mythology about the Sazi world is revealed as we continue in the series and in the book. I enjoyed these tantalizing new glimpses into Sazi society and loved the addition of a few surprising abilities and gifts (or curses depending on how the characters look at it). We also find a bit of foreshadowing here that tells us there is something very big brewing on the horizon. Come to think of it, this may be the first time future events of such magnitude are hinted at in a book in the series. I can't be certain since I've read each successive book as they've been released and may have forgotten some aspects, but the sense of impending doom is very strong here. Cara and Adam are each very strong alphas in their own right so I knew sparks were going to fly between this couple! I was not disappointed in the least. Passion very elemental in nature slowly unfurls between Cara and Adam until some very hot and sexy encounters finally occur. I love that Adams and Clamp never lose sight of the fact that the Sazi are part animal, bringing those instincts into play rather than glossing them over to make the characters more humanistic. Cara and Adam have their weaknesses and their strengths, but together they are extremely formidable. Cultural beliefs and differences also play a huge role and add more depth to the story. Seeing our couple overcome these issues to find happiness together is very emotional. One extra special treat in Moon's Fury is the opportunity to catch up with some old friends. I loved visiting Bobby, Tony, and Lucas again and finding out what is happening in their lives. Sometimes bringing previous characters into the story can be difficult and turn into a cameo that has no bearing on the plot. That is not the case here as all three of these men play very significant roles in the story. At the same time, having so many alphas in such close quarters really ups the ante and brings even more tension to the book. Action packed and full of enough heat to rival a Texas

excellent romantic fantasy

Tedford County, Texas Sheriff Cara Salinas is the alpha leader of her werewolf pack. When Minnesota pack second in command Adam Mueller arrives in Texas, Cara has some concerns as werewolves normally stay close to home. Cara has not been made privy to the knowledge that the Sazi Counsel has decided to disband the Minnesota pack and relocate the members to other packs; some like Adam will join Cara's squad. However, Cara has other immediate concerns besides her attraction to the newcomer. As the sheriff she needs to stop a serial killing group of Sazi eating the offspring of her and his packs. Adam has found his soul mate and assists Cara as they investigate the murders only to uncover a lethal conspiracy that could set back the Sazi for years to come. The Sazi moon thrillers have been consistently some of the best romantic fantasies on the market in recent years. The latest tale MOON'S FURY will add to the reputation of the authors and their top rate series. The story line contains two terrific subplots; a well written paranormal police procedural and a romance in which being a soul mate is not enough as both need to learn to respect the other. As with the previous books, each one expands the Adams-Camp mythos, but also can be read as a stand alone. Harriet Klausner

If you haven't discovered Clamp & Adams wonderful romantic paranormals yet, you've really been missi

Clamp & Adams deliver another rich romantic paranormal with Moon's Fury, and after five books the Sazi series is still going strong. Though the Sazi are a race of shifters, among which are birds, bears, jungle cats and snakes, the romantic stars of Moon's Fury are both wolves. Cara is the Alpha of her Mexican red wolf pack having led them since she came into her wolf side during puberty. She is also the newly appointed acting sheriff, so she is a leader to the human part of her community as well. Adam, a timber wolf-shifter and a Minnisota cop, enters Cara's territory, to scope out the area as a new home for the half of his pack that is soon to be exiled. Cara is furious that the Sazi ruling board has decreed that Cara must somehow integrate the larger more powerful timberwolves into her pack, fearing that her smaller wolves will fight to the death rather then become omega's to the strangers. The attraction sizzles between Cara and Adam as they begin to work together to figure out how they can not only bring the newcomers into the pack but also fit them into a very small town human environment without creating major hostility and bloodshed. And if this is not enough a challenge, Cara discovers that rogue Sazi raptors have invaded the area and are on a preditory spree that threatens both Sazi and human alike. In Moon's Fury, Clamp and Adams have told a story with a well developed plot pitched against the politics of the packs and the larger Sazi world and mythos. They have lovingly set the action in their own Texas backyard and intimate details of the surroundings and the dynamics of the people of the area add a great deal of dimension. Most importantly, they have also managed to develop a rich cast of characters, including some familiar faces from past books and along with several interesting side characters. It was refreshing that authors didn't rely on the usual romance hero/heroine stereotypes, both Cara and Adam are intelligent and admirable, or on the soul mate cliche used in other paranormals. Though Adam and Cara are destined to be mates, the Sazi mate bond doesn't force love, and the authors made the the relationship between Cara and Adam seems natural - showing them first liking and respecting each other and then growing into love with each other as Adam and Cara work together to blend their people into one group and to defeat the evil enemy. I really enjoyed, Moon's Fury, and highly recommend not only this book but all the others in the series. The other books in the Sazi series are: Hunter's Moon (A Tale of the Sazi, Book 1) (Paranormal Romance) Moon's Web (A Tale of the Sazi, Book 2) Captive Moon (A Tale of the Sazi, Book 3) Howling Moon (A Tale of the Sazi, Book 4) Also by Clam and Adams, the Thrall series - Paranomals with a touch of romance (more along the lines of Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson series): The Thrall: Touch of Evil (Book 1) The Thrall: Touch of Madness (Book 2)
