Beautiful book

The book itself is great but unfortunately it stinks so bad like chemicals Im scared to deal with it. The smell is nauseating. I'm surprised they sold this copy. Bummer because the book itself is great.

A favorite book in my collection for over 10 years

I have owned this book since 1987. It is still a favorite in my collection. There is always something new and wonderful each time I open it. It is brilliantly descriptive and very useful as a field guide. I continue to give copies as gifts.
