When Louisa began seeing large toadstools appearing around her, she thought it was a strange coincidence. When it started to happen more often, she told the news to her mother. Her mother's response? To hide what seemed to be a power no other fairy had.

Following her mother's advice, Louisa tries to keep her secret power to herself. That effort is thwarted when she meets a young rabbit called Ronnie. It takes little time for Ronnie to figure out what Louisa can do but, instead of agreeing the skill should be kept secret and hidden, Ronnie helps Louisa to finally accept who she is and what she can do.

In her new friendship, Louisa is summoned by something lurking behind a large waterfall. She's driven to explore, but is it safe to do so? Ronnie tells her it might not be a good idea but Louisa follows her heart. What she discovers is a source of much confusion but also quite some enlightenment
