I RATE IT 5 STARS........

Dr. Travis knows my wife better than I do..

This book has been an invaulable aid into understanding my wife and the world she lives in. I thank you and she thanks you. You might just have saved a our relationship.

A "Must Read" for Anyone Living or Working with a Lawyer

"Living with Lawyers" provides valuable insight into the working life and thought processes of attorneys. I found it helpful to learn about the attorney perspective from a "neutral third party". Dr. Travis provides insight into the ways skillsets necessary to a successful lawyer can be detrimental to relationships. With better understanding of your lawyer, you both can work to build better working or loving relationships!

Living With Yourself: A Lawyer's Perspective

Dr. Travis and her colleagues have written a perceptive book that is based on many years of working with lawyers and those who live with them. This book's insight is invaluable not just for those who live with lawyers, but also for lawyers. If you are a lawyer who wants to understand how you affect those who care about you, read this book. It will help you achieve a more balanced and satisfying life.

Making Sense Of It All

I have known many lawyers throughout my life, some acquaintances, some close friends, some family. This book describes them all! Now I understand why they do what they do, and act the way they act. This book is helpful to anyone who will have to interact with a lawyer, be it personally or professionally. And what makes this book great is that it is NOT lawyer bashing. IT gives you the knowledge into the life of lawyers and what they have to deal with everyday and what their partners need to know. The authors are sympathetic to both "sides". I will recommend this book to everyone I know who has a lawyer in their life.
