A Must Read!

A 21st century 'Tuesdays with Morrie.' A young man with a thirst to speak and inspire others, ends up being the one inspired. When Tim first becomes Mike's aide, its a stable job until something else comes along. Little did he know the life lessons this young boy was going to teach him. Mike becomes Tim's friend and muse, and his passion for inspiring others is reignited as he shares this story with us. A wonderful reminder to all of us not to take the simple things in life for granted and to enjoy every moment of breath we are given.

Inspirational, honest and Genuine!

What can I say? This book made me laugh, cry, made me angry and most of all inspired me to look beyond the mundane attributes of a day and make every day count. I LOVED the honesty and genuine friendship between Tim and Mike and how they could learn from eachother and gain support in ways I wouldn't have thought possible! It's amazing to see the extent Tim went to just to see a smile on Mike's face---and ya know, I believe Mike went just as far to get a reaction from Tim at times! There's so much left to be said, and yet, Tim says it best: "No action is too small, when you believe in yourself, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!" Keep on Keeping On, Tim!! Thank you for sharing your story and I will anxiously await reading about the 1200 mile run!

Unbelievable- Read to feel good about life!

In these uncertain times, Tim reminds us of the importance that each relationship and every effort can make. In documenting his experiences, Tim goes far beyond providing Mike with friendship and dedication; he offers each of us the power to make a difference through love and faith. Outstanding -- A Must Read book

Gratitude, empathy, respect, caring and humor all in one great book. Tim takes the reader through some of the most valuable emotions of our lives with stories that will have you laughing and crying at the turn of a page. This should be required reading for all kids ages 13 through 99. Keep On Keeping On is fun to read and challenges us as we experience the frustrations, disappointments, and triumphs that Mike and Tim face just making it through what to most of us is just an ordinary day. The book poignantly places us in the shoes of Mike who is constantly challenged by a life with cerebral palsy. It is refreshing to read Tim's book which restores our faith in others and in our own hearts, and reminds us not to fear or exclude from our lives those with great challenges. Tim breaks down the handicap barriers that confine many of us who lack empathy and an understanding of what the lives of our handicapped brothers and sisters are like on a daily basis.
