Kedi (2016) – a good name for your cat.

Excellent view of cats in Istanbul. As much as the cats, Istanbul becomes one of the characters. You may see your cat there. We get views of cats from many different, unique locations in Istanbul, not Constantinople. Do not worry about having a cat devouring a mouse scene. The mouse never gets caught, so you do not need to look away or fast forward. Be sure to view the voice-over in English. You get to find out where you are and more about the cats you are viewing. I found the voice-over commentary better than the original production. I have a feral cat colony for the city, so I can relate to the feral cats and their habits. Instead of dispatching stray cats, the city fixes and gives shots to the cats, then leaves them off here to live out their life. When the cats in this production started being catty, all our indoor cats sat up with their catnip mice in tow and watched the T.V.; they found this more interesting than the cat sitter bird DVDs. You will want to repeat watching.
