Diety of Christ

Constantine D. Lenis, a native of Greece, does an excellent job of showing how the original greek text points toward Jesus being one with God in nature and being. An excellent reference for anyone studying the trinity, the diety of Jesus, or the connection between Jesus and God.

JESUS- GOD BY NATURE by Constantine D. Lenis

In this amazing work the author has painstakenly gleaned and succintly brought together biblical verses from the Old Testament and the New Testament to prove that Jesus is God by nature. This is the personal story of the author and his quest to understand the true nature of Jesus. Is He only a man in history, a great teacher and prophet, or is He indeed very eternal God Himself? After many years of false teachings from man's point of view, the author turned to the only source of true knowledge and understanding to search for his answer, the Bible. One of the most difficult to understand, and certainly one of the most controversial subjects taught in the Bible, is that of the Trinity, or the Triune God - one true God, but in three persons - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The author approaches the subject of the Trinity by presenting the many faceted sides of God's nature, His characteristics, His attributes, and His functions in all areas of creation - past, present, and future. All of these subjects are treated individually and quite specifically. Verses from the Bible are used in each case to describe God, and then parallel verses are quoted which describe Jesus Christ in the same mannner. Verses are also introduced which describe the Holy Spirit in the same way - as God. At critical points the author interjects the original Hebrew or Greek text to erase any confusion of meaning. This book is not one that the reader will browse through quickly. It is a christian apologetic for the Trinity of God. It must be read slowly and thoughtfully, allowing its impact to be made. The conclusion that one must draw from reading this book is that, although it is impossible for the finite mind of man to understand the infinite mind of God, the fact of Jesus' Deity as God can easily be accepted. The author proves God's point that Jesus is God by nature. To argue otherwise is to directly oppose the Word of God.
