I would give it six stars if they let me

Gordon Baxter was a word merchant of the first order. His voice was unique and impossible to mistake for another writer's. Though I never met him, my life had some parallels with his. We both spent a considerable span of years in radio broadcasting. We both enjoyed a great love of airplanes and aviation. And we both found ourselves, at an age more advanced than is the norm, the 'very' old fathers of 'very' young daughters. Any father of a daughter would relate to this book, and if you, like Gordon and I, have a love for flying, you'll enjoy it even more.
