Works for me...

Though not detailed enough for some specific areas such as electronics, the diagrams work well enough for part timers like me to fumble through. Given that I have a 1999, this book is getting a bit more useful as time goes by!

Excellent details for Jeep Cherokee maintenance. With this book you can save hundreds on maintenance.

Saved my butt a few times

I see it as essential to own if you do your own maintenance. It isn't as specific as I would like it to be and is begging for an update (knocked 1 star off for that), but has enough information to start and finish most jobs successfully. Easy to read and follow while you're working. It's well worded and has some illustrations that will help along the way. Very specific and small info will be hard to find, but keep looking. It saved my butt a few times while performing maintenance and handling a breakdown.

Cherokee

Great manual, especially if used in conjunction with Chiltons. One tells you one way and the other a different. I bought both and then added a Chiltons CD of Jeep Cherokees in case I'm at home and need to fix something.

Jeep Cherokee, Haynes repair manual

A basic repair manual. Nothing special. I was looking for a basic wiring schematic. The manual provided what I was looking for, so I was happy.
