Dr. Richard A. White's story is inspiring in so many different ways. Richard opens the world's eyes to the struggles that are sometimes hidden from those who are more fortunate. It's easy to take the roof over your head and the food on your table for granted when you've never worried about it not being there. It's easy to think that your college education will be a reality when your entire family has a college degree and/or a career. Taking things for granted can sometimes cause us to not dreams or aspire to be great. I'm Possible pulls the wool from over our eyes and gives us a story of a man who had the odds stacked against him. Richard succeeded not because he was particularly special but because of his tenacity and perseverance wouldn't allow him to give up. I urge you to read this book and pass it to someone who might be in the realm of taking too many things for granted; a place many of us have been before.
