Due to societal restrictions concerning serendipity, the magen (mage-madiens) are outcasts. The Eetequin people are educated workers of the town Eetequ and the YinYinites are citizens of the city YinYin. The currency of the world is a seemingly metaphysical token which rewards human epiphany; therefore, the group cannot travel unless they make self-realized progress. Philosophy, satire, historical figures and futuristic tech all combine for an adventurous search for truth both in the past and the solarpunk future.
