This book changed my dating life. After reading it, my 10 years of failed relationships made sense. I was especially impacted by the scientific description of the chemical bonding that takes place during sexual intimacy. This book is a must read for any Christian woman frustrated by dating in this day and age.

WOW!

I came across this book at the perfect time for me. I have never even considered waiting til marriage to have sex, I never even wanted to. Now I want to and Laurie has given me plently of good reasons why I should.I will not make the same mistakes with men that I have made in the past, this book has truly changed my life! I feel so good now, knowing that I have my sexual control back. I have had very little will power in the past but now I have tools to be strong and stick to my beliefs.It was not based on religion and Laurie did not preach. Every woman, no matter what her age should read this book. Wonderfully written and very true.

Grandma Was Right!

This book just goes to show that Grandmother was right when shetold you, "Wait until you are married." But with the adventof the sexual revolution and the technology that can stop the natural course of conception and pregnancy, we as women have been bombarded with "Just do it.", but are taught to blame men for our unhappiness. This book is written in black and white with very little religious reference on how to say, "NO!" to what hurts and not be afraid to hurt his feelings. I recommend this book to any woman who is feeling confused, insecure and lonely.By knowing what you want is the only way to obtain what you want.

Laurie gets right to the point and boy does she deliver!

I am in the process of finishing this book. While reading it, I felt like it described my own self-destructive actions. It gave me hope,and made me see that I'm not alone out there. She writes in a very understanding and non-judgmental way. I can't wait to see her new books!

Her advice is grounded in profound common sense. The philosophy and approach to building relationships and love is applicable to anyone, regardless of religious orientation. I wish I had read this twenty years ago--what a refreshing perspective!
