I loved the first book to this series. I dont usually read a continuation of the first book. The second book always seems to drag and drop the ball BUT I think this author was able to keep me as the reader captivated for the most part. Definitely parts in the story where there were triggers to someone with issues but if you read the summary or the first story you would realize it. (my statement to those complaining).I was fine with it. The author took this second book and changed the dynamics of the characters a bit! Adeline became fierce in her own right! Good for her! Zade was all kinds of messed up. The story flowed nice and easy. Action for sure. Even a tiny twist in the end!!!! I will definitely read from this author again!

I am actually not an avid reader. My coworkers started a book club I decided to join. I was given these books as part of smut month. I love this series and wish there where more. So far I have not found any other books I like compared to this one.
