A Must Read for all Parents & Teachers - Brilliant!

Want to know about yourself and how you are wired? Want to know about your kids and how they are wired? This book by Dr Kathy is one of the best books on multiple intelligences I have ever read. One of the things that makes this book a standout from other ones (not counting the easy to read, lots of stories and illustrations etc) is that Dr Kathy goes through the characteristics of the different intelligences, the strengths and weaknesses, and also gives advice on how you can strengthen the various intelligences. Even better for Christian parents, Dr Kathy writes from a Christian world view! Quite simply, this is the best thing i have read on multiple intelligences. As a teacher, it was FULL of practical tips and help and has caused me to think about how I teach. Dr Kathy makes this material accessible and writes in an engaging manner with lots of practical examples and ideas. I liked it so much I bought 5 copies to give to friends.

Not just for parents and teachers, but for everyone

This book is a fabulous resource for anyone, not just for those involved with children! I'm 40 years old, not a parent nor a teacher, and I discovered many wonderful things about myself, how I'm smart, and about the people around me. I also learned that it's never too late to train my smarts, so I'm now working on growing my "body smart," which is my least-developed way of being smart. Read this book to learn how you are smart, and how you and the people around you, even if they're not children, can learn to grow the different smarts.

Must Read

This is a must read for anyone with children. A wonderful resource for understanding your child of any age. Fun to map your whole family and understand how you can work better together. A great tool if your child is struggling with their educational experience.

Excellent book for any parent or teacher

This book is a continuation from Dr Kathy's teaching and lecturing and is written not just on the theoretical, but on a very practical basis. This book has been needed for a long time: it will challenge and inform all parents and/or educators how to identify and work with the God given strengths within each child/teenager. It is an easy to read book with some real gems and "aha" moments. The first two chapters provide a background to the multiple intelligences laid out in the next 8 chapters. Dr Kathy has provided a great insight for parents into the Gardner classification of multiple intelligencies. If you care about your children, this is a "must read".

Loved IT!

This is a must read for anyone who has children, works with children or is around children in any way. If you want to inspire and encourage children to be all God designed them to be, then this is the book for you. I discovered SO much about myself, my husband, my son, my nieces and nephew (many of which are smart in different ways than I am). I loved the way this book is written in easy to read English but in depth enough to give you real information. Also included are many bible references which are GREAT for giving to your children. I loved it so much that I am buying 3 more copies - one for my sister, one for my son's teacher and one for my church library.
