Nevertheless she carries on and finds important allies among the young women and she gets involved in many events that lead to the fall of Troy. Menelaus takes her to Egypt, where she realizes her full spiritual powers and how she can guide and heal people in need. Upon her return to Sparta she understands that whole Greece is in need. Now in old age and fully aware of her powers she feels ready to take the job upon her shoulders and lead the Greeks out of the misery. So she guides her daughter Hermione and her son-in-law Orestes in their new lives as royals of Mycenae. This becomes a peaceful and graceful period of Mycenaean history. She reconciles with her daughter and lives a fulfilled life until her ascension.
