The Holy Spirit is the third person of the godhead. As God the Father revealed himself in human form (Jesus), so he revealed himself in spiritual form as the Holy Spirit. Thus, there is one God, bearing three relationships to nature and man. The Holy Spirit is the most neglected member of the godhead.
