Insightful information

Excellent book if you need to know how to protect your identity, assets and any other valuable items that are in your possession. The book mentions that "almost everyone has something to conceal", and I am a firm believer in that. Whether you've got assets or just a hard working middle class person, we all have our identities.The author also mentions how to legally move your assets and protect yourself from creditors or others who would want to know if you have anything of value to take. Timing is of utmost importance when performing such tasks. Moving your assets when there is a pending lawsuit, is fraud. But moving and planning well before any type of litigation is started, is perfectly legal and wise.What I like about the book the best is that, the author doesn't hold any punches back. Although he mentions certain aspects of hiding is illegal, he still mentions tactics that you must do to keep it a secret. These tactics become invaluable, if you are on the other "side of the fence" looking for hidden assets! What I didn't really care for, is the amount of attention that the author gave to hiding money "around the house" if you may. Although I believe this is just as important as using more sophisticated techniques, I felt they devoted a little too much time talking about hiding your money in shower post or under a rock.Other than that, the book was really a good foundation on "hiding your money".

Unlike many financial books, this one had concrete information on how to actually hide your money and assets. Each chapter contained specific details on how an ordinary person could hide everything from important documents to valuable coin collections. The book is carefully researched and well written. This book is specifically written for regular people who want to safeguard and protect the few assets that they possess. After you've finished reading it, you'll never look at things the same way again.

I highly recommend this book, you don't have to be wealthy to benefit from learning how to protect your privacy. The topics go beyond hiding cash to keeping personal documents safe from intruders and traveling safely with money, subjects that speak to the majority of adults. The lively writing also keeps you reading the chapters that you might not need yet, but hope to in the future. A good, practical summer read.

In a world where everyone knows everything about you, this book tells you how to hold on to some of your privacy. And, the best thing about this book is that it's funny and non-judgemental. It's shocking, entertaining and politically incorrect. I loved it!
