everyone should read

Very good book. I think everyone should read it then maybe people would try to get along better. With the government trying to take God out of everything I guess love will be next.

A must read for all

Someone lent me The Five Love Languages. I loved it so much, I bought a copy for myself, and The Heart of The Five Love Languages for my sister who is too busy to read the whole book. I think everyone should read it who has or wants to have a relationship of any kind with anyone. I liked it so much, I bought the Five Love Languages for Teenagers and The Five Love Languages for Singles. Mr. Chapman claims that there are five primary love languages: words of affirmation, physical touch, acts of service, receiving gifts and quality time. Although we all need to be loved in all the ways, there is one love language that is our primary love language. If we are not loved in this primary love language, then our love tank becomes empty and we feel unloved, even if all four other love languages are being spoken to us. So my conjecture is this may be then, why someone with the love language of words of affirmation would 'fish' for compliments, because they have a deep need to hear affirming words. Happy reading!

Most books focus more in the philosophy of life that the author supports, this book is down to earth and very practical. We love it!

Great read!

This condensed version of the original Five Love Languages book give a great synopsis of the meaning behind each one. I gave this copy to a friend because I kept referring to an old one that I had. This version makes a great gift. The Five Love Languages breaks down how each of us want to be loved and how each of us gives love to others. Since I first read the book I have enjoyed finding out which love language that my loved ones like to receive. I highly recommend it!

I learned a lot about myself and what I need to feel loved. I learned how to take a more active role in a relationship so others can better feel the love I have for them and to let them know how I best feel loved.
