Good introduction for beginning writers

This workbook can be used as a stand alone book. I do have the Big Little book for this series and it has nice illustrations, but this book is much more useful. The activities in this little book follow a good order and are a great introduction for kindergarteners/early first graders to writing. I know it will be easy to guide my daughter through the activities in this book and do them again and again to help her get practice writing. I definitely like this book! And I would even say I love it, because I don't know of anything else like it that is so directed to help students understand what Writing is.
