Problematic

This author and her books are extremely problematic.

Plagiaristic horse manure

Don't bother wasting your time

Fake and self important

It’s less of a self-help book and more of a way for the author to brag about her accomplishments and has an air of self importance. I bought both of her books after hearing about how great they were and gave both away after reading half of the first one. Very shallow and leaves a lot to be desired. Basically just a “look how great I’ve become!” story

Good read, funny, and I want to read more of her work

This book was easy to read, had some great tips and ideas of how she manages her busy life, and I found myself flipping the pages quickly wanting to read more and more. When I laugh out loud while reading a book, I for sure will read another book by the same author.

Every woman MUST read

This book was full of exactly what I needed. Cold hard truths. Validation. Nee perspectives. Humor. Finding myself amid chaos. This book.is something every woman needs to hear. Ladies, grab a blanket and get started! Rachel does not disappoint!

Inspirational!!! Rachel Hollis speaks the truth!

This book was so eye opening, relatable, and a speed read! Highly recommend!

I seriously loved this book

I don't think I have read so much while reading a book in my life. Everything about this book resonates with me. My sister was the one who wanted me to read it and I'm not sure I knew what I was getting into. However from the very start I loved this book. I loved the narration and how you feel as if Rachel Hollis is there with you. Talking with you. The way she writes this book feels like your just sitting with your friend in the room talking about some hard truths. With every chapter, or lie, you learn more about her story but also more about your own story as well. This book made me look at my self differently and that I am very thankful for.

Excellent condition and a MUST read

Definitely enjoyed reading this book. Every girl should get a hold of it

Couldn't Stop Reading!

I started this book with the intention of reading a chapter here and there. But once I began, I found it hard to put the book down. I ate up everything Rachel said as I related to her on so many levels. I would highly recommend this book!

I didn't love it

I wanted to like this book so much because it comes highly recommended for women who want to change and become more confident. However, I found it very boring and way too "squeaky clean"... not very down to earth, real, or raw which is more of what I crave from this genre. Also worth noting it is a bit religious which didn't bother me but some may not appreciate it.

Back to school time means beach reads come out of your bag and textbooks go in, but that doesn't mean the fun is over. While we (obviously) embrace all things learning and reading (because books), even we have to admit that some textbooks are a bit, um...dry. To ease the transition, here are 22 alternative academic titles that are entertaining, practical and, well, educational.
