This book was written by my Great Grandfather, Bernard Leo Gardiner in 1940. He was blind, an activist for the blind, and very passionate about standing up for the rights of the blind. It’s disheartening that this publishing company published this book for profit, something that my Great Grandfather would have not approved of. In fact, I feel it would have angered him greatly. Making money off the backs of the disabled. He had much deeper values as he shares in his book.
