It is way to go a hunting without the inconveniences of hunting laws and regulations. Taking photos allows him to shoot babies in the spring, and he does not worry about limits or seasons, licenses or tags. He shoots from his car and across roads, even in the city. In fact, he gave up using anything else while still a teen. The real truth is he wanted the trophy without the mess and carryout of a kill. He then turns the experiences into stories. Spirit is in all the elements and all the animals, so he studies them from that perspective. Ernie also has a love of family and many times his adventures are with his greatest mentors his grandchildren as they make their life's discoveries. Living in the woods of North Idaho with his wife Linda, he creates a regular column for "The River Journal," "The Hawks Nest." Ernie has contributed to "Science of Mind" magazine, "Creative Thought" magazine and several spiritual newsletters. His spiritual connection to the universe, all its inhabitants, and of our oneness to everything is a favorite topic.
