This movie presents a well-paced psychological drama. You can never go wrong with Hedy Lamarr. All the supporting actors are well picked.
Madeleine Damien (Hedy Lamarr) has the thrill of wrangling men. She inadvertently “runs into” a psychiatrist (Morris Carnovsky) who points out that she is following in her father’s footsteps and if she does not change her ways, she will crash and burn.
She attempts to change her ways. Can she change her ways? Or will her alter-ego creep out at the most inadvertent encounter?
What if a potential mate (Dennis O'Keefe) discovered her alternative nature? And how can that possibly happen?
You may be able to outguess the next step in the movie. However, it is still worth watching how the story unfolds and then rewatching for clues that you may have missed the first time around.
