Wonderful large book

This is a beautiful book from 1952 with a very interesting biographical introduction on Currier and Ives (has got me hooked on these wonderfully interesting picture books). This book has magnificent single sided illustrations throughout many of which I see being sold individually online as prints but what a sin it is to pull this lovely book apart! Far better to keep this huge (landscape format) book together to be admired for generations to come!
