This oversized paper-over-board concept book takes toddlers all over George's world and theirs. Each page features a different concept: counting, shapes, opposites, emotions, family, jobs, homes,... This description may be from another edition of this product.
We recently borrowed this book from a friend, who very seriously checked it out to us from his 'library'. That afternoon, my pre-schooler boys spent forever looking through it together, much like they do their Richard Scarry Busy books. Later in the weekend, the 3 year old sat on the couch for 30 minutes by himself - talking to the book, admiring the pictures, counting items on the counting page, and "reading" through several times over. We sadly returned the book on Monday to our young librarian friend, and I am now purchasing our own copy! Simple, cute, fun... highly recommended for your pre-schooler.
a good book to grow with

My son is only 19 months old and he already loves this book. I have read it to him a few times and this morning he pulled the book off the shelf and was flipping through the pages by himself. There are many parts that he will have to grow into but for now just looking at the pictures and pointing out the things he knows is fun enough!
Gorgeous!!!

What a beautiful book! I bought this book as a gift for a friend's son, but when I looked at it in more detail, I realised that we absolutely had to have a copy of our own. The picures are simple and lovely, the alphabet is very cute... there is counting, weather, animals, instruments, meals, seasons and so much more information in this book. What a fun way to teach your young child about the curiosities of their daily lives!
One of the best things I have ever bought my girls

This book has been a favorite of my two girls ever since I bought it for them last Christmas. We will spend hours looking at it, finding all the things that George is learning about, and playing hide-and-seek with George, too. This is a book that is friendly enough for children of any age to explore on their own, and because of that same friendliness, will make learning much more enjoyable.
George is Terrific!

This book immediately became the favorite at my house! The illustrations are wonderful and bright, the cover draws you in to read about shapes and colors, animal sounds, opposites, emotions and seasons. It creates a wonderful enviroment for actually interacting and conversing with your child rather than just reading to him/her.
