Chicken Soup for the Girls Soul- Courtney

I really like the book. It is a very good book because it tells true stories about what girls go through such as boys, drama, and embarrassing moments. There are many stories in the book, just, like all Chicken Soup books. They all have a bad situation and an intelligent way to fix the situation. For example in one story an average 13 year old girl is a horrible situation. She is on the cheerleading squad and the other girls on the cheerleading squad play "pranks" on her, and tells her lies. She figures out what the girls are doing and she just tries to be nice to them and not to be mean back. In the end they forgive each other and the girls that were on the cheerleading squad and the girl that got picked on become great friends. That is an example from the book and it is true. All the stories in the book are true stories written by average 12, 13, and 14 year olds.

Chicken Soup for the Girl's Soul

This book was wonderful. Different short stories about troubles, special moments, death, depression, friendship and popularity, crushes, everything a lot of girls go through in their teenage and preteen years. I laughed, I cried, I smiled, and I was inspired by the stories in this book. I think every girl should read this.

GroWing uP

This book is a very amazingly fun and interesting book to read! once you start you wont want ot put it down! This book is made up of many short stories written by different people, some of very young agaes. What i mainly like about this book is that there are many options to it. Like you can read about different subjects such as love, growing up, family and more also there are many books written for different types of people so you can pick the one that you think is right for you.This means you will probably enjoy what you are reading and if you dont you could get another one that you might enjoy a bit more. I personally love reading these types of books. The sections i mostly enjoy reading are about love, and friendship because they relate to issues i might be going through myself.

A Great read for Girls of all ages

I love all Chicken Soup for the soul books.Yet I especially loved this one.The stories are written by real girls of all ages about real stuff.The stories are sad,Happy,touching and sweet.My favorite was Home the story is about a girl who goes into a foster home who longs for a family.At thriteen she spent three months in the hospital for anorexia nervosa.She learns that she will be leaving the foster home that she has been in for the past 5 years and be going into another home. She's sad and does'nt want to go .Yet this family decides to keep her and she becomes part of a family .These stories will have you laughing,crying and wanting more.I hope they make Chicken Soup for the girls Soul 2.

Cool book!! I love it!

I read the book chicken soup for the teen age soul and i did not like it at all.Well i read this book and loved it! I am still reading this and plan to finish reading it on a long trip next month. I has great comic strips, awsome storys, and is great for girls. I am 12 years old and i will be 13 in feb 06 so i would recomend this for ages 10-13 mabye even some 14 year olds would like this. I also like american girls books, and the american girl web site.
