If you are pregnant, you need this book!

I have been an avid gym goer for most of my adult life. However, I had questions about what I could continue once I found out I was pregnant; everyone has differing opinions, and I was getting caught in the middle! This book is highly insightful, and gives much more than just a few exercises for pregnancy. It explains how you are feeling during pregnancy, what to expect while your body changes, and why certain things are not recommended. It then goes right into how to modify your workout to continue to keep your body fit. The workout has been great for me with morning sickness and fatigue as well, since many days I cannot imagine driving that 40 min round trip to the gym! I still feel "buff", and it fits my lifestyle. I can imagine continuing this workout post baby (there is a section of postpartum exercises to get you back in shape too) as I don't anticipate much extra time in my day to take that drive once the baby comes. For all buff moms to be, this is your book!

clear and concise

This book has plenty of stretching and exercise information to follow. The pictures are excellent and the information is solid. There is only need of a few inexpensive and useful [even after baby] workout materials. Very well done.

The best book of its kind

I am pregnant and determined to stay fit and healthy during my pregnancy. I looked at many books on the market, but decided to go with Fleming's given her book's clarity, accessibility, and Fleming's own solid experience in this field. So far, I am thrilled. The writing and program are easy to follow, and the pictures help with form where Fleming suggests exercises I haven't done before. The tone of the book is also right on -- to the point, encouraging, down to earth, which I appreciate. Some exercise books can be a bit too much. So, if you are looking to stay in shape while pregnant, this book is a solid guide.
