Mystery

This is the fourth book in the Cape Refuge mystery series and completes the story in a satisfactory and fulfilling way. Terri Blackstock is true to her readers, she doesn't "fool" any of us while at the same being able to slip in that quirk or surprise fact toward the ending that keeps the reader turning pages. The Cape Refuge characters are warm, smart and human!!! I have read all four of the Cape Refuge series and recommend them highly; they have a Christian slant that is light and does not preach or come on heavy-handed but is very today.

Breaker's Reef

This book was one of the best books that I have read in awhile. The whole series by Terri Blackstock is excellent. This is the kind of book you can't wait to find out the end but, you hate to finish reading it. My 14 year old daughter also read it too and loved it. If you are a fan of mysteries and also of romance you should pick this one and the whole series up.

Great Series

Terri Blackstock's BREAKER'S REEF is book four of the CAPE REFUGE series and another bestseller quality narrative. Each book in the series will stand on its own but reading each book in the series increases the intensity of each plot driven tale. I am always proud to recommend any Blackstock novel. This author is a master at weaving GOD and his unconditional love through out the twists and tunnels of her action packed mysteries. Perhaps Terri's Best Ever!

As noted in my earlier review of "River's Edge" (see below)--Terri Blackstock's third installment of her "Cape Refuge" series--it seemed that she had reached her pinnacle. But 'lo and behold' I stand corrected! Ms. Blackstock's final volume of this series, "Breaker's Reef," once again exceeds even her own fine work. Within the context of a strong Christian message, her ability to write extraordinary mysteries is as good as any secular author... and better than most! "River's Edge," the third entry in the four-volume "Cape Refuge" series by Terri Blackstock, is yet another example that this unique author somehow continues to improve with each book. This is especially impressive considering that all of Ms. Blackstock's novels are outstanding. Her superb writing style; her creative plots of mystery, and compelling insight into human relations; her ability to integrate, so skillfully, her strong convictions in the Christian faith... all of these attributes, and more, make her works special. Unbelievable!!!

Terri Blackstock you did it again!! Just when you think a writer has reached a climax in tallent. Terri just shocked me again. This book was so good I could not put it down for a second. What a close to a series. To bad this is it. Her character development was incredible, the story weaves so perfectly. Without giving any of the story away. I would suggest read the books before this. As for this book all I can say is "WOW"!!! A must read!!!
