Wrong version

I purposely got the hardcover book rather than the paper back (which I would’ve preferred the paperback) because I wanted the newer version of the book and instead the old version came pretty upsetting

My bad but I dint know.

So I have 6 other copies of this book in English, this book has the same cover but in Spanish. I honestly was expecting the same size book. it was really small and the reader has some eye issues. Again this is my fault for not looking at the size of the book and assuming, only giving the review to remind others to check the book size as small book = small text inside = inability for some to read.

Old Edition

Thought I was getting the 2018 edition, which is what the picture is. It’s a classic book that has helped a lot of people but I wanted the new edition. Caveat Emptor!

Picture of book was deceiving

I thought I had ordered the updated version based on the picture, but received the 1992 version. Should have read the details more carefully.

The wrong picture!

I got the older version of this book. The front cover looks totally different. I am in the class and we read the book together, so I am afraid that the one I got won't work. It is good to read alone outside the class though.

Warning! This is a religious text!

I do not like this book. I also did not receive the book pictured, as another reviewer stated. Additionally, this book is all about my Christian relationship with God... well, I don't have one of those and I don't want one. That is a firm boundary I can stick to! I thought this was a self-help book written by psychologists and it's my fault I didn't check that detail. Bummer.

NOT what you receive

The newly updated is what’s pictured and sold. However, you will only receive the older version. This is frustrating because I am doing a book study with a friend and will not have the same version. On top of that!! They left a .52 cent YARD SALE sticker on it…

One of the best books I’ve read

It taught me so much. Really going into detail about boundaries and how to use them & giving so many examples of them. This really changed my outlook towards people. Thank you!

Best Book Ever

One of the best books I’ve ever read. I believe everyone in the world should read this book

Everyone needs boundaries!

I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to others. It really helps in understanding the why behind the conflict, and how boundaries are needed and should be respected. It re-enforced some learnings from therapy and a co-dependent group. It helped me with saying No, and not having to explain my no. It helped me define boundaries with several people that I had neglected to do so before.

Old version!!!

The picture is very misleading because that is not the book they send you. It’s an older version

Great Book but I got the older version. The picture is misleading. The good thing is that mine had no highlighting or writing in it.

Not “like new”

Has writing inside. “Like new” is deceptive. But it’s a great book.

Must Read

This book is very educational and practical. It helps the reader to be introspective regarding their boundaries and it provides the reader with information that will enable him/her to apply the change to his/her life .

Disappointed

I am very disappointed. The book I received is an older printing of this book AND old workbook ~ Not what is pictured!! 😢 someone had lent the pictures copy to me but I had to return before finished. I thought I’d purchase my own.

Boundaries Book Order

Unfortunately, 4 of the 50 used books ordered were not usable. They were overly highlighted, tagged with book markers and written in ink. I appreciate the price reduction. However, I give these books away to patients at no cost to them except to read and review in session.
