Best book on quilt as you go

I have ready many book on quilting as you go. This is the easiest to read, easiest to understand, and has beautiful patterns. Enjoy!

GREAT BOOK

At the time I purchased Block by Block, I also purchased two other "quilt as you go" books. This is, by far, the ONLY book I would have needed!!! You are able to quilt one block at a time...so I am able to really get into machine quilting. Then, there are instructions for connecting the blocks...to make any size quilt from a wall hanging to a king size!!! I am really impressed with the clear directions and the ease in machine quilting! I LOVE to hand quilt...but with this technique...I will be able to make some faster quilts from time to time...and we all need a "fast quilt" now and then!

This book is GREAT! The instructions are very clear. I love the yardage chart, it takes out the guess work. These instructions on how to quilt block by block can be applied to any quilt pattern. This was the best purchase ever.

What a great approach!

This is a great way to get started learning to machine quilt. By working on one block at a time, instead of a whole quilt top, the quilting process becomes more manageable. Detailed instructions are given for 25 different blocks, 5 corner designs, and 3 types of sashings, that you can mix and match to make any size quilt you would like. Step-by-step and easy to follow cutting and piecing instructions are given, plus an 8-page gallery of quilts that are quite inspiring. But best of all are the excellent suggestions on how to quilt each block.
