Adira formed a team of people from different walks of life. Word gets out about the group and the work they're doing. Many people join forces with Adira to fight alongside her in this battle. Adira expected some resistance from authority figures, but she could have never expected what was to come. Once Adira start's making too much noise and threatening to expose the corruption within the system. She is soon meet with resistance and opposition from local town members and authority figures. With too many lives at stake, the information Adira is threatening to expose has her and her team's lives in danger. Adira refuses to back down and is willing to accept whatever comes with the territory.

Her team consists of her boyfriend Abiydan, Amina, Mike, Rosa, Akita, Ahmad, and a group of white liberals; who help start the organization. She challenges a corrupt system, problems within her community, and problems with the human race as a whole. She causes people to self-reflect and realizes the changes they need to make within themselves. She challenges others to stop blaming each other for their problems, pushing them to see the bigger picture as she puts her life on the line exposing the dark secrets of the lives of top Government officials and others. After law enforcement shot ten-year-old Shawn Jones, a series of events unfold. Adira takes the led, showing people that police brutality is a big problem, but we as a whole have way more problems than that.

This book is necessary, especially in the times we're living in now. Police brutality has become the main topic alongside discrimination and racial profiling. I'm sure we're all aware of African Americans' treatment in this country and others. We might get it the worse, but we're also not the only ones who experience this. That's the purpose of this book and the others that will follow it. To get everyone to look at the bigger picture outside of discrimination and racism. It all starts somewhere, and that somewhere is you. So, it's time to do some self-evaluation. Black Politics is book one of the many series to come. It deals with police brutality, black-on-black crime, domestic violence, PTSD, and missing people.
